Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is rich in beauty boosting nutrients such as vitamins A, E and D, as well as antioxidants and fatty acids. The chemical makeup of Jojoba Oil gives it a unique non-oily, non-occlusive, elegant skin feel and great oxidative stability.

It is a liquid wax made up of esters of saturated and monosaturated fatty acids and fatty alcohols. Is rich in unsaponifuable compounds, regulates sebum production and is non comedogenic.

It also deeply nourishes and reaches the bottom of the upper layer of the skin for the ultimate nourishment. Its natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties are ideal for treating acne and other bacterial skin conditions. Rich in vitamin E, Jojoba oil supports skin elasticity and helps reduce aging. Due to its absorption capacity, it can also be used as a scalp and hair moisturizer, moisturizing hair follicles from within.

Jojoba oil is an essential oil cold-pressed from the seeds of the desert plant Simmondsia Chinensis. It often grows wild in the southwestern United States and arid regions of the world. Jojoba oil consists of a significant amount of liquid wax and a combination of mixed tocopherols, free sterols and other substances that form a balance. Jojoba oil is very heat stable. It also works on the skin by acting as a moisturizing and emollient agent to increase skin elasticity and suppleness. Jojoba contains natural tocopherols to reduce oxidation and therefore rancidity caused by lipid peroxidation.

It is a clear golden liquid and this “clear” grade retains the unique properties of Jojoba Oil, without the colour or odor (most desirable for high-end cosmetics & toiletries).
