Grape Seed Oil
100% pure ultra-refined Grape Seed oil obtained from the seeds of Vitis Vinifera (Grapes) which contains about 12 percent of a drying oil which is ideal for any skin formulation.Grape seeds are one of the most abundant byproducts of wine-making. Grown in North Africa,Middle East and Southern parts of Europe.
It is highly rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids and vitamins, and is extremely stable in cosmetic preparations. Acts as an anti-radical and dermo protective substance . It is used in place of other strongly unsaturated oils to obtain ointments and emollient emulsions. Considered to be very suitable for light body massages due to its skin spread ability and penetration, and does not leave behind a greasy skin. Makes the skin soft, supple and radiant. In cosmetics it is prized for flavnoids which are excellent antioxidants.
It contains the highest amounts of linoleic acid (omega-6), an essential fatty acid, that our bodies cannot produce. It is a necessity for many functions that maintain normal cell growth throughout our body. Colour can vary from yellow to green on customer request. Also used in aromatherapy and in the food industry.
